There' too much moe England out there.

And while I'm at it: Screw the flying mint bunny.

Add banshee, kelpie & Co to all the unicorns and fairies and you get the real dimension of the pandaemonium britanicum. It's an unsolved mystery to me, why this dark side of this creepy, gnarly and utterly wonderful character isn't drawn more in this fandom.

media: Pencils. A lot of.
acoustics: Ruby Throat 'ghost boy' (Katiejane, you are amazing)

Oh this is just wonderful.

Gorgeous shading, excellent stylisation - and I love that background! Amazing work, really - there should be more fanart of Arthur like this.

Thanks a ton! The background had really been hard, hard work.

I think that comes across very clearly - it looks amazing. I love how you drew his expression too. I can't get enough of this piece! I'll feature it in my next journal entry, if that's alright with you?

Sure, go ahead, I feel honored! I really have to draw him more, I like this character muchmuchmuch, but he's kinda hart to visualize the way I want him to. It's like my brain wages some flame war against the hand holding my pencil and vice versa. XD~

Lovely art piece! I absolutely adore the darker side of the hetalia fandom. This comes along with some interesting headcanons about England.....and could also probably explain America's fear of ghosts. Seriously, fantastic work! I have no idea how you managed to do this without smudging.

Ka-chan! Oh~ indeed, interesting head canon! This really would make sense!

I'm right-handed, so I start shading in the very upper left corner of the picture and finish at the opposite area. Stupid, little trick, but it keeps your paper (and hands!) clean - especially if you use pencils in the higher B.
Thanks, honey!

OMG I LOVE YOU. I enjoyed it very much too! :D Talking to Europeans is just so interesting to me haha. You guys are just so cool in every aspect!

As a naive American [eventual] tourist, if you could recommend any place in Europe for an American to travel, where would you recommend? (With the exception of Rome, Italy haha, cuz that's definitely happening lol) There's so many places to see, if you could only pick one along with Italy, what would you pick? Especially the historical places! :D I'd love to hear a recommendation from a European. :)

Honey, I guess there are thousands of cities worth visiting, therefore I advise you the places I stumbled upon more or less by accident:

Bergen, Norway: One of the few places I would return to over and over again. Those wooden houses, the market, the sea, the fjords, the incredibly friendly people. If you can, arrive via ferry. You can only grasp the concept of Norway if you practice fjord-hopping!

Edinburgh, Scotland: The (not so!) grey city of Scotland. I arrived there on the first bright day of spring - and this city has a dry, but very appealing charm with its castle high above it, sitting there like a crown and the houses cascading down to the river. Pretty cool IMO. I still can't stand bagpipe music, but Edinburgh is worth a visit nonetheless. XD~

Barcelona, Spain: One of the most relaxing cities I've ever been. A lot of night life and take your time honoring the wonderfully crazy catalonian artists: Dalí, Miró, Gaudí. The world is colorful with them.

Vienna, Austria: Opulent and interesting. Hundreds of palaces, churches and stuff - I kinda fell in love with this city without realizing it. You'll get the world's best coffee here!

Cologne, Germany: Old as time, but still very much alive. If you want a crash course in european history, start here: Roman, Medieval, Modern times, all in a nutshell, free for all. And you can't miss the cathedral: It's the T.Rex of all gothic churches and impressive as fuck. If you want crazy times, then visit for carnival, the whole city is batshit insane then!
